ART MASKS
In P/1 this term we have been using the book Animalia by Graeme Base as inspiration for a theme letter of the week.
Here we have our team of talkative, talented and terrifying, yet tender, tigers of P/1 out to play some terrific tricks!

ART PROJECT
Our garden continues to grow with the construction of some amazing large shapes and beautifully finished ink and marker detail.
Some dates to look forward to:
Thursday Sept 12 at 11am
We look forward to a visit from Mel and Sas of Gung Hoe Farmer’s Market. They will be talking about their passion for growing and their experiences as farmers. This links in well with our SAKG Program but also our focus for our art project about looking at the small details in nature. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.
Friday Sept 13 at 2.15 -3.15pm
Art workshop for parents and carers. You are invited to participate in a student led workshop and learn some of the sculpting techniques utilised in the project. Your work will be included as part of our whole school show. Please register your interest at the office.
*All participants will require a current Working With Children Check.
Wednesday September 18 from 3.15 – 5.00pm
Exhibition opening and showing for completed ‘The More You Look the More there is to See’ at Winters Flat PS.
Saturday October 12 from 2- 5pm
Lot19 Sculpture Prize opening featuring ‘The More You Look the More there is to See’ as part of the group exhibition.
October 13 – 27 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10am- 5pm
Sculpture Prize at Lot 19 exhibition continues.
