A MODULAR BUILDING PROJECT
On Friday our local member for Bendigo West, Maree Edwards representing the Education Minister James Merlino came to school to officially announce the funding that Winters Flat would receive for a new modular building. The proposed completion of the new building is approximately 12 months.
Once again I would like to acknowledge the efforts of Maree, Katie Wilson and members of our school council and community past and present, who lobbied so strongly for this funding.

FAREWELL KIM
As many of you may have already heard our chaplain and student welfare coordinator Kim Collins is leaving Winters Flat at the end of term. We are so grateful for the work Kim has done with individuals and groups of students as well as initiating some great connections in our wider school community and she will be sorely missed.
At first Kim is going to be travelling overseas and then relocating away from Castlemaine. We wish her all the very best for the next phase in her life and thank her warmly for her work here at the school.
Please take the opportunity to see Kim before she leaves.
We are currently advertising a position under the school chaplaincy program which closes on Friday.

WORKING BEE FOR TERM 2
Our next working bee here at school is at 9:00am on Sunday 23rd June. Most of the work required will involve removing and hauling branches to the tip and a general tidy up. Please let us know if you can help. Chain saws, pruning saws and trailers will be of great assistance.
